As I sat in George Couros’s presentation yesterday morning, I was struck by one simple line: Make sharing the “default.” Collaboration. Discussions. Reflection. Real sharing. The kind that pushes your thinking, makes you reflect on what you do, and the kind that is so open that the more you give, the more you get back and grow. Technology allows us to share with the person next door or the person on the other side of the world. We have the tools to use to connect, collaborate, and grow. We just have to make sure we’re using them. Sharing can’t be the afterthought. It needs to be the core.
